LI: to know the name and properties of 3D shapes.
This task we made a slide for 3d shapes and what are the use for.
First I went and got my group my group was AJ and Aarush we did Rectangular Prism and Cylinder first.
Next we did sphere and cube we put how much sides it has and how much corners it has and it is name.
Last we did pyramid and cone we did how much sides and corners they have.
I found this task interesting. Because I did not konw about 3d shapes.
LI: To calculate the sum of whole numbers using algorithm.
This task I made a DLO explaining what addition algorithm.
To do this I did 9+4 that makes 13 so put the 1 from the 13 to the 0 that will make it a 1 then do 1 + 5 = 6 then leave the 2 and that gives you 263.
LI:To calculate the difference of whole numbers, using algorithms.
This task I made a DLO for subtraction algorithm.
To do this the first digit goes and subtracts the bottom number, if the number is lower than the bottom then you borrow a number that is on the left. After you done and worked out your answer you put it under the line and your finished.
LI: To read the text, gather, sort, graph and analyse the data.
We made barcharts explaing how much blog posts we made on every month for each year.
Our task was to make a google sheet for each year for are blog post then I made a google draw for the Statistical inevstigation and I had the highest blog post in 2023 because I had 27 blog post in June. I had the lowest blog post in 2022 because I had one in December.
I enjoyed this activy because it was kinda fun and was easy.
This week for my math I was doing Holiday Agenda.
First I had to go and pick out my partner and a Destination I pick Queenstown.
Then I had to insert a photo of a world map showing New Zealand and my destination where Then I had to book a ticket and I had to get there on the 8th and come back in the 15th. Then I had to do accomodation and I had to go and get food.
Next I had to do activities all of the activities I had to do all cost 711$ Then I had to get clothing for 2 of my activities.
Last I had to do the total cost of all of it and I had to do my vision board and Holiday Photos.
I did well at my Blog.
I need to improve telling the time .
I enjoyed picking out my partner .
This week for my math I was doing Decimal No. 3 Places and Reading Decimal Numbers to 3 Places Worksheet.
First I had to go on the mat and listen for instructions then I had to make a copy of the Decimal No. 3 Places and Reading Decimal Numbers to 3 Places Worksheet.
Then I was writing the number in words Two hundred and twenty two point nine five two and Three thousand and twenty six point two seven two three. Then I had to do Decimal Comparison Worksheet and on it I had to ut it from Largest to Smallest.
Next I did 3 .4 5 6 for Decimal No. 3 Places.
Last I did a blog.
enjoyed doing my blog. I need to improve on writing the decimal numbers to match the words. . I did well at my Decimal No. 3 Places.
This week for my maths I had to do four math can do’s.
First I had to go on the mat and listen for instructions then I had to make a copy of the four math can do. The ones I picked was Basic Facts Boxes v2 and prototec and Addition Table 5s and Basic Facts Practice 1.
Then I had to go and do Basic Facts Boxes v2 on it I had to do 2+3 and 2+9. Then I had to do prototec on it I had to do 1+0 1+5 1+4.
Next I had do Basic Facts Practice 1 on it I had to do 21-3 1+9 15+4. Then I had to do Addition Table 5s and I had to do + 5 10 510 15
Last I had to do a blog.

Then I had to go and answer all of the Word Problems.

This week for my math I was doing Fraction & Division.
First I had to go on the mat and listen for instructions then I had to mak e a copy of the Fraction & Division and Division of Whole Numbers Practice and I had to do Number Knowledge.
Then I had to go on Division of Whole Numbers Practice and on it had 120 ÷ 5 and 90 ÷ 9 and 180 ÷ 6 and 56 ÷ 8and I had to put the answers to it.
I enjoyed doing my blog. I need to improve on my DLO. I did well at my math.
This week for my math I had to do subtracting with algorithm.
This is what algorithm is An algorithm in math is a procedure, a description of a set of steps that can be used to solve a mathematical computation. For example, a step-by-step procedure used in long divisions is a common example of a mathematical algorithm.
First I had to go on the mat and listen for instructions from Miss Tele’a. Then we had two worksheets to practice subtracting without renaming. Then I had to go on the first DLO and it was Subtracting without Renaming and I had to go and solve the problem
Then I had to go on to my NK Practice which is and Then I had to go on my prototec for my NK Practice.
Next I had to go on my Subtracting with algorithm and I had to Calculate the answers to the following using column subtraction Then I had to go on the Subtraction DLO and I had to do paper work.
Last I had to do my blog. Miss Tele’a is very proud of the work I have completed so far this term.
