Catapults

LI: To  make a catapult out of newspaper.

This week we  made catapults because we were learning about  push and pull forces.

First we drew are design on paper then we went and got are newspapers so we can make it.

Next we fold the paper and use it as  the bucket and then we made the frame of the catapults and the arm we use the rubberband to make it go up.

Last we made a DLO explaining how catapults work, what their weakness are and when were they last seen. Catapults were last seen in WW1, catapults can shoot up to 500 – 1000 meters, that is 150 – 300 meters. I enjoyed this activity because we learnt all about catapults.
